#think about participating in the International Edible Book Festival

March 2, 2012

This seems a fitting post for March, when we are asking people what kind of reading makes you #think?

Edible book festivals have been growing in popularity over the last few years.  The International Edible Book Festival is looking for edible books which are “inspired by children’s literature”. You just have to take a few photographs of your edible book – and then you can eat your edible book, or share it.

Look at what other people around the world have been doing with edible books – in the Flickr slideshow, and on Pinterest.

The Cheese and the Worms

All the information about how to participate in the International Edible Book Festival is in the blog post here.  You might also like to post photographs of your edible books to Flickr (make sure you include the #nyr12 tag).

Don’t forget to proudly proclaim

Thanks for spreading the word! Yes, do join in. The aim is fun and creativity, rather than using a PhD in icing skills, and there are great prizes to be won.

There are some books which really make you think and there are some which leave you as passive as you were before. Thanks for refreshing that point.
